Our Vehicles

As Fenland Fire Team is more than a Standby Fire Cover organisation we have a selection of vehciles, each equipped to deal with a different degree of situations. Below are a few of our members vechiles as well as those owned directly by the Team.

TACR2a Rapid Intervention Vehicle - Unit 1

Our TACR2a RIV is a rapid response unit ideal for events held indoors and outside. It purpose is to reach the scene of the fire first and deploy its 1000 litres of water, which with both lines in operation it can do in under 1minute and 30 seconds. This unit carries basic rescue equipment, portable foam and co2 extinguishers as well as having scene lighting and high level flood lighting.

During normal operation she operates with only water in her tank but is capable of holding a pre foam mix which can be deployed via the same lines and foam branches.

TACR2 Rapid Intervention Vehicle - Unit 2

Unit 2 is a TACR2 (originally a 2 door Range Rover), carrying the same kit as the above unit.
